Vintgar Gorge is known as the wildest site in the Bled region. This steep-sided, 1.6km-long gorge was discovered in 1891 and quickly set up to accommodate visitors. The path follows footbridges and galleries clinging to the rock, overlooking the impetuous green waters of the Radovna River. It ends with a bridge at Waterfall Sum, 26m high.
