The meeting of the waters of the Suzhou and the Huangpu, which meet just before the estuary of the latter, is a sight not to be missed. Here, you can observe the comings and goings of boats slowly negotiating one of the meanders of the river. From this confluence, situated in the heart of Shanghai, the impressive views take in the city, the Bund and Pudong. Both upstream and downstream, two beautiful bridges majestically span the river.
