This modest museum displays the remains and footprints of local bipedal and quadrupedal dinosaurs exhumed within a 100km radius of Savannakhet. The collections (fossils, models) relate to a period between 10 and 300 million years ago. The presence in the region of dinosaurs - "large lizards" as they were called by the Lao people - is of great pride to the town.
