This former wood merchant's house stands in the middle of a vineyard clinging to a hillside. It was turned into a holiday resort in the mid-18C by its new owner, Franz of Bertram, who sold it soon after to the Duseks. He was a professor of music, she was a fashionable singer, and both loved Mozart. The latter stayed in Betramka on three occasions, in 1787, 1789 and 1791.
