For a fine view of the coastline, head to the farthest tip of Plougastel peninsula. From the platform of the blockhouse, the view embraces, from left to right, Doubidy peninsula, Lagonna peninsula, the Faou estuary, the mouth of the Aulen, Ménez-Hom, Longue island, the north coast of the Crozon peninsula as far as the Spanish headland and the Brest goulet.
