This embankment lined with old houses offers a magnificent view over the chevet of Notre-Dame. At no 15, the venerable La Tour d'Argent restaurant was established in 1582 during the reign of Henri II. Note the beautiful 17C façades at nos 27, 37, 47 and 57) and the 18C façade at no 61.
