The Michelin Guide's review
The strikingly designed War Museum tells the history of the conflicts that have affected Canada since the battles in the 17C between the French and the Iroquois up until the Korean War. 13,000 objects are displayed ranging from a full scale reconstitution of a WWI trench and military vehicles to 19C artillery pieces. A memorial gallery pays tribute to the soldiers awarded the Victoria Cross. The top-floor terrace commands a splendid view.
