The Michelin Guide's review
Here you stand in "the holiest of holies". Nicknamed "The Fed", the Federal Reserve Bank establishes the United States' monetary policy, which ripples outwards and affects the world economy. The strong-room, buried nearly 80ft under the street and 50ft below sea level, houses the billions of dollars of gold belonging to the United States and banks from over sixty countries, representing an impressive 25 to 30% of the global reserves.
