The Michelin Guide's review
This is the busy centre of the town, dominated by the Archbishops' Palace and its keep. Between Tour Saint-Martial and the Gilles-Aycelin keep stands the Hôtel de Ville, built by Viollet-le-Duc in a neo-Gothic style. On the square, note the section of the Via Domitia that has been excavated.
