The Michelin Guide's review
Built to accommodate the 1976 Olympic Games, this gigantic sports complex features a stadium, tower and several sports facilities, including a skating rink and a velodrome, which now houses the Biodome. The Olympic village's two striking 20-storey towers designed to lodge 11,000 athletes during the Game, are now the site of a residential and shopping complex. Despite the controversy sparked by the village at the time of its building, it remains a remarkable tribute to the glory of sport.
