The Museum of Photography is housed in a neo-Gothic former Carmelite convent and a modern wing. It charts the history of photography from its beginnings and through the various changes in cameras and the different phases in the art of photography. The collection includes works by the biggest names in photography. In addition, the museum has a photography library (over 2 000 books).
