Set in a restored 15C building, this museum contains an interesting section on the natural environment, but is above all devoted to ribbon-making, a major craft that was carried out for nearly 400 years in the area where it was introduced by Huguenot refugees from France, the Netherlands and Italy. The various stages of silk ribbon-making, from design to retail, are well illustrated.
