Hiiumaa, Estonia's second largest island, is reached by a ferry from Saaremaa. Taking the road around the island, you come to Kärdla, the main town. Hiiumaa has two peninsulas, Tahkuna (to the north) and Kõpu (to the west), each of which has a lighthouse.
