Hong Kong Museum of Art is an important port of call for those interested in Chinese culture. The gallery of Chinese antiquities has some superb ceramics, Shiwan pottery and porcelain pieces. All the different provinces and periods are well represented and this museum really has something for everyone: statues of Buddha, paintings and calligraphy from the main schools of Chinese art (4C-20C), and contemporary art.
