The Michelin Guide's review
An important area of dunes, the famous Culbin Sands were originally stabilised by the planting of beachgrass, replaced in 1922 by Corsican pines. Beyond Culbin Forest and the sands, there is a small, pebbly creek. The sand bar formed by the waves is home to salt marshes that are a haven for seabirds.
