This imposing 15C fortress is a fine example of late-medieval military architecture. Surrounded by five squat round towers, it was built according to a pentagonal design. The irregularly shaped courtyard is lined with elegant arcaded galleries. Note the highly distinctive wooden bell tower. Don't miss the vaulted cellar with its huge winepress, the Baroque chapel and the stove adorned with feminine motifs of antique inspiration.
