It is impossible to miss the red walls of the opera house of this handsome edifice, designed by Sir Norman Foster in the early 21C. The garden in front of the building is by French landscape gardener, Michel Desvigne. The flat louvre roofed canopy is reflected in a huge water feature surrounded by greenery. The contemporary edifice is also home to the gigantic opera house auditorium, famous for its acoustics and retractable chandelier, whose 318 LED rods "twinkle" like a starlit sky.
