Running alongside the citadel on a gentle upward incline, the road is lined with old houses on the left-hand side. Admire the bell tower of the church, the Église de l'Annonciation, at one end. At no. 11 stands the Casa Palazzi, a narrow 18C house with attractive cornices, sadly in poor repair, the weathered façade of which calls to mind Italian palazzi of the 16C.
