The Château des Éveques or Château Baronnial stands at the tip of the promontory of Chauvigny's upper town. Built in the 11C by the bishops of Poitiers, raised and extended in the 13C, this structure has been attacked many times throughout history. Its imposing ruins are the setting for a show, "Giants of the Sky", starring 80 birds of prey and exotic birds in flight. In summer, the night sessions are magical. Kids love it.
