Bassano's Museo Civico is home to an art gallery dedicated to the works of the Da Ponte family, artists from Bassano whose most famous descendent was Louis XIV's favourite artist Jacopo Bassano; note his painting St Valentine baptising St Lucy. The gallery also exhibits works by Vivarini, Pietro Longhi and Tiepolo, as well as a room dedicated to Canova.
