The Michelin Guide's review
The cathedral was rebuilt in the 16C based on plans by Andrés de Vandelvira. The main Renaissance façade contrasts with the west side, which encompasses the oldest parts of the edifice, including the 13C doorway, Puerta de la Luna, and the huge 14C Gothic rose window. On the south wall, note the 15C Puerta del Perdón. Inside, you'll see the fine Capilla Dorada (Golden Chapel), embossed metal and polychrome pulpit, as well as the remarkable iron grille by the master Bartolomé.
