Located at the confluence point of various ecosystems, this national park brings together the biotopes specific to the Orinoco Basin, the Guiana Shield, the Amazon rainforest and the Andean regions. Come between June and November to admire the shifting hues of the Caño Cristales, the spectacular "River of Five Colours". The waterfalls of Caño Canoas and Salto de Yarumales, as well as natural swimming pools and "giant's cauldrons" punctuate the different caños (small streams).
