The Michelin Guide's review
Monte Incudine, a 4km-long ridge running between the Chiralba and Asinao passes, takes its name from the anvil-shaped rock located on its uppermost crest and culminates at a height of 2 136m. The summit of this immense mountain affords an exceptional panoramic view over all of south Corsica and, in clear weather, as far as the sea. On the road to the summit, waterfalls and streams lined with alder trees run down the mountain, which is covered with mature beech trees. Note that the GR 20 footpath no longer leads to the summit.
