Sithonia Peninsula

The Michelin Guide's review
Sithonia is brimming with natural beauty: maritime pines and umbrella pine woods fringing long sandy beaches nestling in isolated bays and inlets, fjords cut deep into this rocky, steep and jagged coastline. Less busy than Kassandra, the peninsula of Sithonia houses seaside resorts of a modest size. A magnificent coastal road runs around the peninsula (110km), offering lovely panoramic views, notably in the south, over Cape Drepano and Mt Athos.
