Standing beside a stream in a pleasant valley, Balmoral Mills was built in 1874. When commercial use ceased in 1954, the mill was completely restored. When in operation (a few hours daily), it is possible to see how the cereal was ground and transformed into flour. Admire the hydraulic wheel and, in amongst the cogs and conveyor belts, the original millstones which grind barley, oats, wheat and buckwheat into flour (for sale).
