The Michelin Guide's review
A visit to the Museum of Corsican Prehistory and Archaeology provides an overview of the island's prehistory (palaeontology, Mesolithic, Neolithic and Metal age), arranged chronologically, as well as housing a display of fine ancient and medieval objects. The exhibits date from 300 000 years ago to the 16C and include polished stone vases, silver jewellery, daggers, large ceramic cups, iron tools and weapons, and even some menhir-statues.
