The Maison du Bois has been transformed into a multifaceted cultural park and attractions with one guiding principle which is to highlight the history and natural resources of the coast: a handsome reconstructed mansion, an arboretum, an area devoted to wood arts and craftsmen, a small piracy museum and a butterfly greenhouse. A picnic area, wooden games, and the "vélovolant" system of pedalos 10m above the ground to get around the park are a fun feature of the site.
