Created in 1962, this national park is home to a primary tropical forest with around 2 000 varieties of plants and 250 species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including some that that were thought to be extinct, such as foxes. Visitors can enjoy a hike beneath the forest canopy as well as a visit to Muong villages established inside the park, which is best visited from October to January.
