Many of Medemblick's most attractive old houses, such as the pretty stone façade of the Bakkerijmuseum (bakery museum, n° 8), are situated in its main street. The Public weigh house (Waag), located at the end of the street, has a stepped façade decorated with a stone sculpted into weighing scales.
