The Michelin Guide's review
Large gates are posted at the entrance to the Chinese district of Kobe, one of Japan's three Chinatowns, with those of Yokohama and Nagasaki. The red decorations and golden dragons everywhere leave you in no doubt that you have arrived. Lined in restaurants whose brightly coloured signs, energetic touts and enticing smells lure in the client, it is extremely pleasant in the evenings when the shop lights illuminate the district.
