The Michelin Guide's review
Although not that high (altitude 552m), Victoria Peak is quite steep. From the top, the view is incredible: hypnotic at night, when the city blazes with neon lights, and eerie by day, when the skyscrapers are shrouded in mist. The middle-class business elite have chosen to live in the lovely, Colonial-style houses on the slopes of the Peak. A funicular has operated here since 1888: be sure to take this short trip over the high-rises and Victoria Park up to the Peak Tower.
