Built in 1959, the Speedway hosts several NASCAR automobile races every year, including the legendary annual Daytona 500 stock car race, as well as motorbike and karting competitions. Capable of accommodating nearly 168,000 spectators, the "tri-oval" circuit boasts nearly 2,500mi of track.
