The Michelin Guide's review
The Valtellina is an alpine valley formed by the Adda River that descends first southwards, before heading west and finally flowing into the northernmost tip of Lake Como. It encompasses several lateral valleys and sports a few well-equipped spa resorts. The valley is also well known for its gourmet fare and fine wine, nurtured by vibrant culinary and wine-growing traditions.
