The Michelin Guide's review
The road to the megalithic site of Carrowkeel climbs amid the cliffs of Bricklieve Mountains (alt. 321m), ending, after the car park, in a superb walk past abandoned peat bogs. At the top is Carrowkeel megalithic complex, a group of cairns, comprised of tombs dating from the 4th millennium BCE. Below to the east are 150 round cabins, thought to have been where the builders of this necropolis lived.
