This estate surrounds the Georgian-style residence of the General and statesman Philip J. Schuyler (1733-1804). This relatively modest house overlooking the Hudson is one of the few old residences in Albany. Schuyler received Benjamin Franklin and George Washington here. Numerous anecdotes related to the place come to light during the visit.
