Nuorilang Waterfall, the world's largest natural waterfall paved with travertine, is one of Jiuzhaigou's most emblematic sites. Its waters crash down abundantly, especially in late summer. In winter, the waterfall is immobilised in a curtain of ice that is particularly photogenic. It is accessible in a few minutes' walk from the tourist area at the junction of the two upper valleys.
