If you want to profit from the breath-taking panoramas of the Parque Nacional da Chapada Diamantina, you will have to brave the Morro do Pai Inácio, 20km/12mi from Lençóis. From there, at 1120m/3674ft, the curious terrain slowly reveals the bluish facades of the Sincorá, da Bacia and Chapadinha. The easy route (by road practically the whole way), explains the site's popularity. Hikers, however, can expect a good 6-hour hike.
