The Michelin Guide's review
The name combines the owner’s surname, Masuda, with an expression meaning ‘more and more’ – it’s a prayer that the restaurant will prosper as family members support one another. The menu skews strongly towards the produce of Ibaraki Prefecture, where the chef was born and raised. In addition to seasonal vegetables, the restaurant serves trout raised by a friend of the chef in Nikko as oshizushi, and Tochigi wagyu beef as cutlets. Rice cooked on a hearth is sourced in Tochigi as well. You’ll come to love it ‘more and more’.
