The Michelin Guide's review
As you open the door to this trendy restaurant, you’re greeted by a lively buzz and smiling faces. Settle in at the high communal seating or one of the lovingly restored 100-year-old ash tables, while surrounded by laughter and contented chatter. The cooking comes in the form of a regularly changing menu of sharing plates where local ingredients and bold flavours are key. Some dishes, like wild mackerel with fennel and harissa salad, have a lovely freshness to them; others are more heartily traditional, such as the Wicklow venison en croûte.
