This restaurant boasts a concept that takes guests back in time thanks to its focus on the flavours of bygone days. At Pharaoh you won’t find modern cookers as every dish here is cooked using wood or charcoal as in olden days, endowing everything with a sense of simplicity and authenticity. The decor is a show in itself, with its combination of modern and industrial styles, open-view kitchen, plus a spacious balcony on which to enjoy your meal. Chef Manolis Papoutsakis’ cooking revisits Greece’s culinary traditions, but with a contemporary touch, as witnessed in dishes such as Tarama, Dolmadakia, Papoutsakia and Galaktoboureko. In the evening, a DJ adds to the atmosphere with music played on vinyl discs, so if you don’t want to miss out make sure you book in advance.
