About it
Casa Bestregui is located in Guaso, 3.7 mi. from Ainsa in the Aragonese Pyrenees. It is an old 16th century fortress house, restored preserving all its original charm such as stone floors, wooden beams and sloping ceilings. It is decorated with traditional craftsmanship and fully equipped, as if it were a normal home. All the rooms have views of the garden and the mountains.
The main entrance leads to the interior of the old fortress, to a courtyard which is accessed through a vaulted passageway. The back door leads to a picnic area and garden surrounded by nature. Next to the main entrance there is an access to another garden with stone table and benches and exceptional views.
The house consists of a living room with kitchen (fully equipped) and dining room, two double bedrooms (one with a cot) and one with three single beds, three toilet areas, an entrance courtyard and the old cellar, currently used as a boiler, cleaning and washing machine area.
You can count on good heating, towels, sheets, bed linen and household linen. You will also find electrical appliances such as dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, etc.
Its location is strategic to visit the national park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, the natural reserve of Sierra y Cañones de Guara and the natural reserve Posets-Maladeta, or the villages of Alquezar or Ainsa.
